NEW home for BRUMFIELD Winery 539 Queens Road, Seville Home of BRUMFIELD Winery from the 14th of December 2007. And, subject to council approval, permanent cellar door from 1 September 2009. Property is currently in poor condition. Creek and dams are covered with blackberries. Just a few days work. Not really - it will take years to remove them! Top picture - back of old farm house and the proposed cellar door, cafe. Renovations required plus some modernizing of the current front. WELL!!!!! 24 acres with permanent flowing stream. Pumping rights and 3 dams with one being a spring fed dam. This time next year BRUMFIELD Winery will have 28 rows, 300 metres long, of approximately 5,500 vines. 28 rows will go approximately half across the block. Management (Anda and David) are still discussing varieties. Can you imagine this building to be a winery? It's old, dirty, has no doors and broken windows, but it is big and it has a large room for our barrels and it has an old cool room that will be our bottle storage and white wine fermenting cooling room, and it has another bigger room as our general work area. Are we excited, or what?
